PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 27, 2011 – The Toyota Liva hatchback is finally available in India. The car developed specially for India faced many delays, but it has now made it to the market. Keeping in mind the Indian customer, Toyota has priced this car very competitively, in fact it is the cheapest model offered in its line up.
The Liva hatchback was earlier scheduled for launch in March this year, however its plans were delayed by the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11 resulting in loss of life and disrupting supply of auto parts.
The Liva will be available in five different variants to choose from, with the base variant up for grabs at only INR 3.99 lakhs. The next variant in line, is the G priced at INR 4.59 lakhs, followed by the G special for INR 5.05 lakhs and that the V for INR 5.49 lakhs. The final high end variant is the VX is priced at INR 5.99 lakhs. Furthermore, Toyota has also announced their plans to bring out a diesel variant of the Liva. The diesel variant will go on sale by 2011 end or early 2012.
